Note that Kloekhorst A. 2008a, 840-841, lists another verb, <span class='AOHittite'>dāriye/a-</text:span>, sometimes understood as ‘to call upon the gods’, but which in his view is not connected with either of them; its meaning is uncertain, but in several contexts, it “seems to denote an action performed on an ill person in order to heal him”. For the present translation see similarly Hout Th.P.J. van den 1998c, 39: “they will give as much compensation as the number of years <span class='del'>[</text:span>the festival? was left unc<span class='del'>]</text:span>elebrated”.
