Vgl. dazu auch Melchert, CLL 6.
Nach Melchert, CLL 5 lautet der Akk.Pl. akkatiuš. Das würde eine Analyse akkatiušš=a nahe legen, genau wie unten in Z. 12'' (Text A+H).
Zu den Ergänzungen in E Vs. I 15'' und 16'' siehe Puhvel, Fs Laroche, 1979, 301, der wie folgt ergänzt: akku[šša] tarneškizzi Den[kiduš-ma-šši piran] iyattari nu k[an ŠAḪAR.ḪI.A-az] šaḫiškizzi „(Sangasu) keeps sinking pits, (but) Enkidu will go abead of him nad stuff (them) with dirt.“ Auch Laroche, RHA 26/82, 1968, 9 ergänzt -šši.
Der vermeintliche Waagrechte in der Autographie ist nach Kollation am Original wohl Kratzer.
Laroche, RHA 26/82, 1968, 9, ergänzt: ša-ḫi-iš-ki-mi, was jedoch hier wohl keinen Sinn ergibt, vgl. auch Beckman 2001, 158: „[He always stops up] with earth the pits...“ und HED I 25.
HED I 25 schlägt isparnuskimi (?) vor. Ebenso CHD Š 218b.

Vgl. CHD Š 1b, wo allerdings der erste Kolon noch aufgeteilt wird: „Šangašu, the young m[an, goes (?) and] sinks hunting pit[s] (to trap) wild animals. [But] En[kidu] goes [ahead of them (the animals (=šši))] and fills [the pits with earth.“ Vgl. auch Beckman 2001, 158: „The [young] man Shangashu, [a hunter], used to prepare pits [and traps in the steppe] for the wild beasts, [but Enkidu] went out [before him] and kept stopping up [the pits with earth.]“
