Outline.11, reconstructed through several newly identified joins, provides previously unknown information on the course of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival, including four ‘new’ days of the observance (now DAYS 17–20). Notably, its first day is described only in the second column, raising the question of what was written in the now-lost col. i. This unusual layout further suggests that Outline.11 represents one of the shortest versions of the festival.Outline.11 was written by the same scribe responsible for Outline.1 and Outline.8.

DAAM 3.116 + KBo 51.130 (still as Bo 3893 and 582/u, respectively) were joined together and recognized as outline tablets of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival by Corti C. 2007. Corti also proposed that these fragments belonged to the same tablet as KUB 59.2+, a view that seemed plausible until new joins to KBo 51.130+ were identified, rendering Corti’s suggestion untenable. The five new joins, identified by Lorenz and the present author (see the corresponding entry in the Konkordanz for details) demonstrate conclusively that KBo 51.130+ constitutes a separate outline tablet of the festival (see Kryszeń A. 2025b for details).

Palaeography and handwriting |

Outline.11 is written in the New Script and shows the same hand as Outline.1 and Outline.8 (for details see the corresponding section in the Introduction to Outline.1). Since this scribe employed almost exclusively IIIa and IIIb sign forms, Outline.11 can be tentatively regarded as one of the youngest preserved outlines of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival.

KBo 51.130 is the only fragment of Outline.11 for which the find spot (Temple I) is securely known.

The first day of Outline.11—although not preserved—must have been described in col. ii, implying even more missing content than in the case of Outline.8 (written by the same scribe). In addition to the explanations proposed for Outline.8, one may consider that col. i contained a historical introduction explaining the origin of this particular recension of the festival. The only preserved word of col. i, written in the intercolumnium, is ZAG-aš. This could refer either to the ABUBITU man, who is occasionally described as “of the Right Side”, or to an event involving a border (ZAG), a term frequently attested in historical narratives.
Given that day 1 of Outline.11 was written in col. ii, this text likely represents a very short version of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival.
The newly available passages also provide previously unknown information: the journey of the Divine Hunting Bag from Tawiniya through Ḫiyašna to Ḫattuša, the ganzuwa- and arunitt(a)- festivals, and celebrations dedicated to Miyatanzipa. The tablet further confirms the existence of the king’s journey to Matilla, which was already suspected by Nakamura (Nakamura M. 2002a: 79).
