CTH 626.Tg04.4

Festival of Haste (nuntarriyašḫa-). Day 4

introductio

Short description

The fourth version of the day-tablets describing DAY 4 of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival consists solely of the newly identified manuscripts and appears to describe a great assembly in Taḫurpa. However, despite over 130 clauses preserved to varying degrees and the existence of four manuscripts, this identification must remain tentative until new joins are found that can confirm or refute the current proposal.

History of publication

KUB 10.54 (without joins) was edited by Lebrun R. 1977c: 7f. and 10–17 and interpreted as belonging to the AN.DAḪ.ŠUM festival. After the join with KUB 11.16 was made, the text was assigned to CTH 592 (The Spring and Autumn Festival in Zippalanda; see Gonnet H. 1975-1976a).

KBo 57.194 was identified as duplicate of KUB 10.54+ by Lorenz (see the entry in the Konkordanz). KBo 48.131 was noted as a duplicate of KBo 52.195 in Groddek D. 2012b: 90f.
