Short description

Version 2 shows an interesting relationship to Version 1. It initially reproduces the celebrations found in Version 1 and subsequently extends them by at least one additional day. This is most clearly illustrated in KBo 30.54 (ms. B of Version 2), whose first column duplicates the final column of ms. A of Version 1. Version 2 thus seems to represent a redacted composition that combines multiple festivals which had previously existed as separate units.

History of publication

None of the manuscripts has been edited previously.

Tablet characteristics

Ms. B and C were originally three-column tablets. The format of ms. A is unclear, since the fragment remains unpublished.

Palaeography and handwriting

Both available mss. (B and C) were written in the New Script.
