Since most of the outline tablets break off at some point, it is impossible to determine how many days each version of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival originally comprised. The final preserved portions of several outlines (especially Outline.2) indicate the existence of additional days after DAY 38, but the manner in which these sequences correspond to one another remains entirely unclear. At present, the highest day number that can be restored for any version is 41, attested in Outline.5.
In any case, the poorly preserved final days of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival included celebrations dedicated to the Stag-god of the Field (Outline.2 cl. 74f.), and to Zitḫariya (Outline.11 cl. 63). Whether these observances took place on the same day cannot be established with certainty. It is noteworthy, however, that the final entry of KUB 25.27 iv 3′–6′ (CTH 629) – a text closely parallel to the outline tablets of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival – appears to favour such an interpretation.
