This text was published in transliteration in Starke F. 1985a: 265–266, where it is attributed to the category of miscellaneous spells.

Tablet characteristics

The lower right corner of the second column, with the Randleiste on its bottom, is preserved, and so is the upper edge of the third column, likewise featuring the Randleiste.

The text is found in building A of Büyükkale.

Intertextuality

The list of diseases can be regarded as a parallel to CTH 765.1, even though the names of the diseases are different in this case. The concept of burning the miasmas connects this text with the Hittite conjurations assembled under CTH 765.9.

General information

The reverse of this tablet contains the spells, which describe burning diseases together with the clothes of the ritual patron (section 4).
