This text was published in transliteration in Starke F. 1985a: 389 as an unspecified Luwian fragment.

Tablet characteristics

This is a one-sided fragment of a two-column tablet. The intercolumnium is preserved. The left column features a double paragraph line and is broken below it. The right column is totally destroyed.

Palaeography and handwriting

The fragment displaced transitional features between prototypical Middle and New Script.

Text transmission

This fragment was found in a secondary context in the Phrygian layer of Büyükkale.

Intertextuality

The mention of the “human child” in this fragment links it to the genre of conjurations, while the appearance of the god Šulinkatte provides a closer link to CTH 765.

The preserved fragment contains the final part of a conjuration, devoted to the restoration of a human child to his original state.
