Cult inventory (CTH 527.65) Textual tradition
Basis of the edition The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary. Commentary Previous editions: Hazenbos 2003: 151-52. In Wilhelm 1997: pl. 26 a photo is available only for the obverse and the edge of the tablet, not for the reverse (furthermore, the inventory number is to be corrected to “KuT 14”). obv. 4′: The palace of Šulupašši is mentioned in KuSa 1/1.10 as well (Wilhelm 1997: 22 with fn. 12). obv. 6′: For this GN cf. Ḫalippaššuwaš mentioned in the Edict of Telipinu (Wilhelm 1997: 22). obv. 8′: Cf. the GN Inzaluḫaš in KUB 26.75 4′ (Wilhelm 1997: 22). rev. 5′: “Eine Garnitur (Gefäße in Form der) weiblichen Brust” (Wilhelm 1997: 23). rev. 8′: For the shortened multiplicative ending -ki see GrHL 168 §9.54 with fn. 48. rev. 11′: The gloss word taḫarimaim(m)a/i- likely appears in KuSa 1/1.7 1′ (q.v.) as well; its meaning is unclear, still it seems to be used here as an epithet of NAM.RA (kindly suggested by C. Melchert).
