Basis of the edition

The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary.

Commentary

Previous editions: Hazenbos 2003: 153-54.

According to Wilhelm 1997: 23 an indirect join with KuSa 1/1.12 is possible. This fragment mentions a contribution of the king of Tumanna and, in fragmentary context, the GN Ḫinariyašša (line 13′), see the discussion in Cammarosano and Marizza 2015: 168-69.

1′: For the gloss word taḫarimaim(m)a/i-, which may be restored here (kindly suggested by C. Melchert), see commentary on KuSa 1/1.6 rev. 11′.

10′: On the interpretation of this line see Wilhelm 1997: 23.
