Basis of the edition

The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary.

This fragment preserves a list of offerings for local spring festivals in various towns (the only preserved GN is URUa-r[u?- … ] in rev. iv 1′). Noteworthy are the rare reference to the expression waruli eku- “to drink ‘in the vapour’” (ii 9′) and the unusual three-columned layout.

Palaeography and orthography: Late QA (iii 5′). Note the spelling MUNUS.MEŠḫa-az-ḫa-ra-a-i (ii 7′, iv 6′).
