Cult inventory (CTH 528.15) Textual tradition
Basis of the edition The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary. Commentary This curious fragment seems to preserve a cult inventory to which another scribe added an oracle report (Güterbock apud Berman 1982: 94). Indeed lines 1′-9′ preserve a festival descriptions with the usual formulae of cult inventories, whereas lines 10′-12′ (written in a different, shallower handwriting, see Berman 1982: 94 with fn. 5) preserve a short oracular report. 8′: RGTC 6 406 reads the last preserved sign of the GN as GA, but it may equally be TA, hence the possible reading URUTariyata(-)[…]. There are no attested GNs fitting either reading.
