Cult inventory (CTH 528.31) Textual tradition
Basis of the edition The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary. Commentary Collated (March 2020). The fragment is written in a tiny, clear and regular script (script size 2 mm), similar (but not identical) to that of KBo 22.222, and very similar to that of KUB 25.24, which displays also similarities in the jargon of the festival description (DU]GÚTULḪI.A ti-an-zi, KBo 26.160 6′ and KUB 25.24 iii 7′). It preserves a festival description in the typical style of cult inventories. Palaeography: Elongated KÁN, mostly written with four inscribed verticals. 17′: Note the asyndetic formula arranzi iškanzi, comparable to adanzi akuwanzi.
