Citatio: M. Cammarosano (ed.), hethiter.net/: CTH 529.54 (INTR 2020-04-17)
Cult inventory (CTH 529.54) Textual tradition
Basis of the edition The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary. Commentary Previous editions: Hazenbos 2003: 124-26. The text mentions several times offerings (or perhaps festivals) instituted by the king; the usual verb dai- is used both alone and with the preverb appanda, which seems to refer to the institution of something additional (Cammarosano 2018: 36-37). Noteworthy are the numerous forms of annalla/i- “preexistent” (annalaš, annaliuš, annalan, annališ). ii 1′: Hazenbos 2003: 124 (based on the copy), followed by Tischler 2016: 246 propose to read here ⸢mtu⸣-u[d-ḫa-li-ia-aš], but the traces visible on the photo do not seem to fit the reading of the sign UD.
