CTH 626.Tg06.9

Festival of Haste (nuntarriyašḫa-). Day 6

introductio

Kurzbeschreibung

Version 9 includes texts previously identified as belonging to the Great Festival of Arinna (CTH 634). The fragments preserve more than 90 clauses of a lengthy god-drinking ceremony and largely duplicate the material found in Version 2. The decisive criterion for attributing these manuscripts to CTH 626 is the sequence of the toasted deities, which corresponds precisely by to that of Version 2.
