For DAY 8, the outline tablets of the nuntarriyašḫa- festival record four major events:
1. The opening of the three-day celebrations for Ziparwa (DAYS 8-10). On this day, the principal celebrant is the supervising palace servant (DUMU.É.GAL LÚparā uwanza), while the king participates only on the subsequent days. All celebrations for Ziparwa within the nuntarriyašḫa- festival have been edited by Susanne Görke.
2. A great assembly in the House of Ḫannu, apparently involving the king, although this is not explicitly stated. This event is attested only in Outline.6. In the present edition, texts detailing the celebrations in the House of Ḫannu are grouped under Roman numeral I and comprise Sections 1–8.
3. A specific nuntarriyašḫa- festival dedicated to the Storm-god of Zippalanda and the entire divine circle. According to Outline.6, these celebrations take place in the House of the Major-domo, while the remaining outlines do not specify the location. In the present edition, the day-tablets describing these celebrations are grouped under Roman numeral II and comprise Sections 9–13.
4. A ḫadauri- festival in the temple of the Storm-god, celebrated by either a prince or a bodyguard, depending on the king’s decision. No day-tablets describing this event have so far been identified.
