KBo 45.38 is a fragment that describes celebrations spanning at least two days in Taḫurpa. Although the nuntarriyašḫa- festival is not explicitly mentioned, there is a strong possibility that KBo 45.38 represents a day-tablets for either DAYS 4–5 or DAYS 14–15. Given the limited information available, however, it is not possible to decide between these two options.
One peculiarity of the text is the word ta-ra-a[n-zi (r. col. 1′) in a clause immediately preceding the notice of drawing the curtains and closing the ḫalentu- complex for the night. This combination is otherwise attested only in KUB 60.119 rev. 7′ (CTH 670) and – according to Jürgen Lorenz (pers. comm.) – likely also in Bo 4220 l. col. 8′ (CTH 670). Whether all three texts belong to a single composition remains unclear.
