The word spacing suggests that we read GU₄-tar-wa-ša-an or GU₄tar-wa-ša-an. If it belongs to tarwa-, ‘to dance’, one may consider this to be a translation of AM/rīmu, ‘wild bull’. Alternatively, one may read GU₄ *tarwaššan, ‘wooden bull’ or GU₄-tar wašan ‘covered bull figure(?)’, cf. KUB 56.20, 11′.
Cf. ANŠE.KUR.RA ú-e-ḫu-wa-aš, ‘horse of turning’, in the land grant KUB 24.58 obv. I, 10. Note also that the verbal noun waḫnuwar means ‘turn’ or ‘lap’ in Kikkuli’s training manual for horses (e. g. KUB 1.11 obv. I, 17). Perhaps a plow or chariot horse?
