rev. IV breaks off

Hitt. [nu menaḫḫanda (/IGI-anda) laḫla]ḫḫimaš MUŠENḪI.A NIMUR (e.g. KBo 40.270+ (Frg. 4 + Frg. 3) obv. I 7′/8; KUB 49.52 rev. 13′; KUB 18.12+ (Frg. 1) obv. 15).
Typically, after the description of a bird perching, and of the position of its beak, the next sentence describes the bird taking off and flying in a new direction.
Tentative. Since this paragraph contains a short report, it might be a control oracle.
=aš refers most likely to the bird. This formulary for the augural response is atypical (cf. the expected sentences elsewhere in the text, ḫantaittat=wa ‘it was confirmed’ and arḫa=wa peššer ‘they excluded’).
Strangely, the verb here must have preceded anda in lacuna (see Sakuma Y. 2009b, II, 623: … IK-ŠU-UD na-at e-re-er] an-da, instead of na-at an-da e-re-er).
See previous kolon 17.
Tentative; Sakuma Y. 2009b, II, 625.
