This fragment has been catalogued under CTH 573, as it may contain portions of bird oracles. However, if the reading is correct, the form [Z]AG-ni in kolon 3 suggests that the tablet also included other types of oracles. More broadly, the oracular nature of the tablet remains uncertain. Although the right column refers to birds, the content cannot be definitively identified as an oracle report. The falcon (k. 12) is very rarely attested in bird oracles (only KBo 22.263+, DAAM 1.67, the letter KuT 49, and KUB 22.70). Other potential indicators, such as the ‘eagle’ (k. 14) and the technical term SIG₅-za (k. 16), are tentative readings, for which we lack contextual information. Additionally, the sentence beginning with n=an in k. 15, which resumes a direct object, is atypical for bird oracle reports.
In summary, while it is possible that the tablet contains oracles, this remains quite uncertain.
