The content and structure of this fragment of oracular text is of difficult understanding. Based on the tablet form, it could be a letter, but the content does not allow to determine this with certainty: “… handelt es sich wohl eher um eine Liste von Orakelbefunden oder um einen Brief über vollzogene Orakel, als um eine Orakeluntersuchung selbst” (Hout Th.P.J. van den 2001c, 429; and similarly Martino S. de 2005d, 307).
The text refers to something occurring “at night” (obv. 8'-9') and “during the day” (obv. 8'-9'), which are, respectively, [un]favorable and favorable; the context, however, remains unclear (for a possible parallel, having to do with a medical treatment, see the notes to the text). In the following sentences, augurs and a diviner are mentioned, possibly in connection to the issue discussed in this new section: it has been determined, presumably through oracles, that the goddess Ḫebat and another deity (in lacuna) are angry (obv. 11'-12'). The iterative form suggests this is an ongoing problem. The subsequent, very fragmentary lines mention multiple determinations through oracles and an offering ritual – possibly to be performed to appease the goddess's anger.

MS (mh.); diagnostic signs: AK, E, IT.
The reference to the goddess Ḫebat, combined with the early palaeography, suggests a date at the beginning of the New Kingdom (i.e. reign of Arnuwanda, Tudḫaliya II/III).
