Sakuma Y. 2009b, II, 616, restores: " Í[D-az ša-ra-a pé-ra-an] (likewise in line 4´). Although the word "river" must be restored here and in r. col. 4´, the reading is likely, based on r. col. 9´ as well as the parallels in KUB 18.5+, obv. I 5 and passim.

Cf. Sakuma Y. 2009b, II, 616: “… kam vom Fl [uß nach oben, vorne ] vom günstigen (Bereich)”.
Sakuma Y. 2009b, II, 616 suggests [tar(uya)li-]. A movement of the bird “in front” from SIG₅-az only allows a movement tar(uya)li- from this quadrant. However, it should be noted that peran (‘in front’) in the previous sentence must also be restored; thus, the argument is to some extent circular.
For parallel sentences, see e.g. KUB 18.5+ (=CTH 573.113) obv. II 13 and passim.
Elsewhere in the text the ‘favorable’ side is spelled logographically (SIG₅-az).
