The Akkadian verb for the eclipse is lost. From the Hittite kattanta pāuwaš mēḫuni it is clear that the text deals with eclipses during the setting of the moon.
The scribe of B either skipped one phrase of the protasis or must have made extensive use of the intercolumn space.
