There seems to be no literal Akkadian equivalent of the Hittite phrase D30 ta-pu-uš še-eš-zi, ‘the moon lies down on the side’.
Cf. the two omens in Emar 6.651, 31.’
This seems to be another omen from EAE 1, likely from the gap between Verderame’s §42 and 43. Cf. the manuscripts BM.46000, rev. 3, eBL edition (https://www.ebl.lmu.de/fragmentarium/BM.46000), accessed 24.05.2024, and BM 36318+ obv., b+3–rev. 5, eBl edition (https://www.ebl.lmu.de/fragmentarium/BM.36318), accessed 24.05.2024 (= Verderame L. 2002a: Pl. 5–6).
This omen is found in Emar 6.651 rev., 20.
The verb ḫilae-, ‘to have a halo’, is so far only attested in the active voice, but see KBo 34.128 2′, where it is likely also to be restored.
This omen is very fragmentary, but cf. Emar 6.651 rev., 18, which has some semantic overlap with the words preserved.
