The verb is plural, probably mistaken, based on the content of the next sentence. A possible solution would be that there are in fact three maršanašši- mentioned in line 7´, and the gap should be restored as: [1-aš-ma-kán TI₈MUŠEN-na EGIR] “One (of them) and the eagle …”. However, this would be inconsistent with the singular verb in the following line, l. c. 11´.
